NHS Milton Keynes CCG hiring for Lay Member – Governance

NHS Milton Keynes CCG Clinical Commissioning Group was established as an NHS statutory body in 2013. The CCG commissions services for the people of Milton Keynes and its surrounding areas. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Lay Member (Governance) to play an important part in shaping and developing the CCG.

Post Name:- Lay Member – Governance

As the Lay Member for Governance, you will bring specific expertise and experience to the work of the Board. Your focus will be strategic and impartial, providing assurance and oversight of key elements of governance, including audit, remuneration and managing conflicts of interest.

You will have the skills, knowledge, expertise and qualifications to assess and confirm that appropriate systems of internal control are in place for all aspects of governance, including financial and risk management. You will be expected to chair the Audit and Finance committees.

The time commitment is a minimum of 2.5 days per month and remuneration is £7,900 per annum. Some time commitment may be required in the evenings.
