NOHS-North Okanagan Hospice Society offers quality end-of-life care services in the North Okanagan. We are seeking a Client Support Services Manager to join our Leadership Team. The position is non-union, 30 hours/week.

Major Responsibilities Include:

• Participate with the Leadership Team in the daily operations, strategic growth and development of the organization.
• Recruit orient, supervise evaluate and recognize support staff (housekeepers, cooks and maintenance staff)
• Recruit, educate, support and recognize volunteers
  Qualifications: Required Training and Experience:

• University degree or college certificate in volunteer administration or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Management and supervisory experience of staff and volunteers
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Understanding of the philosophy of hospice palliative care
  Qualifications: Preferred Training and Experience:

• Experience working for a non-profit, preferably a registered charity
• Supervisory experience in a union environment
• Effective interviewing and coaching skills
• First Aid Certificate
• Food Safe Certificate
• WHMS Certificate.
