NONA Child Development Position Name: Behavior Interventionists (BI)
Descriptions:
Our Autism Program is expanding and has moved into our brand new NONA Clubhouse! We are currently hiring Casual Behavior Interventionists (BI) for our Autism Program. Children in the program have an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis and are as young as 2 and up to 19 years old. Your role as a BI is to assist the child to learn and complete activities by following the individual plan as determined and directed by a multidisciplinary team.
Qualification:
Minimum qualifications for this position are a high school diploma and experience working with children. Experience with children with ASD and related disorders are preferred. Applicants will be invited to a meeting where more information about the position and what we do will be shared.
Travel within Vernon and district is required in this position. All candidates must have a valid class 5 driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

This position is in the HSA Health Services & Support-Community Sub sector Collective Agreement.
