Odiya Cafe Post Name: Chef (Korean & Western)
Job Description:
– To take the lead in kitchen operations and management on Korean & Western cuisine
– Help to create new recipes and menu
– Ability to produce high quality plating with both design and taste
– Must practice high level of hygiene standards
– Organize and train each section kitchen staff in providing consistent in food presentation and taste
– Order of raw materials/foods & conduct supervision to achieve minimal wastage
– Overlooking kitchen’s daily operations and functions
– Check stocks daily
Requirements:
– Minimum of 20 years of age. (all ages of adults are encouraged to apply)
– Can speak English and Korean Language
– Preferably someone with more than 1 year of experiences working in the kitchen
– Good knowledge on food cost and menu planning
– Have relevant experiences in Korean & western cusine highly desirable
– Prior experience as sous chef in hotels or equivalent will be the minimum requirement
– Willing to work in shift including holidays
– Certificate in Culinary or F&B related fields is an advantage
– Immediate vacancy
