Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn. Bhd. was established on 2nd December 2010 as the first large-scale manganese alloys and ferrosilicon plant in Malaysia. Formerly known as AML Manganese (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., the company was established by global ferroalloy production leaders to produce and supply manganese alloy products for the steel industry worldwide.

Post Name: General Manager (1 Vacancy)
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall plant management including safety and production.
• Obtain the necessary approvals from the federal and local government
• Work closely with BOD in strategic planning and execution of the current and future business development.
• Ensure the establishment and implementation of standard operational policies and procedures for production techniques, material usage, capacity planning and production scheduling.
  Requirements:

• Master Degree holder in Business Administration / Degree in Metallurgy Engineering / Industry or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Ferroalloys industry working at DGM level or above.
• Strong leadership and multi-cultural sensitivity, excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  Post Name: Planner (1 Vacancy)
  Responsibilities:

• Scope the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair / preventative / predictive design – out activities on the origination plant and equipment.
• Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work.
• Able and competent in root cause failure analysis leadership and investigations.
• Familiar with Mpulse Silver V8 Maintenance Software.
  Requirements:

• Master or Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline preferred.
• At least 10 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing / ferroalloy plant.
• Possess Maintenance planning, scheduling, and supervisory skill.
  Post Name:Shift Leader (3 Vacancies)
  Responsibilities:

• Supervise whole production process of a designated furnace, and ensure its effectiveness and efficiency.
• To report any breakdown, safety issues, contractor performance of raw materials handling system and equipment.
• Analyse and maintain products quality issues, takes corrective and preventive actions to uphold our production quality
  Requirements:

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in any Engineering background or equivalents.
• At least 3 years working experience in Ferro Silicon, Silicon Manganese and Ferro Manganese. Raw Material and Finished Product Industry.
  Post Name: Mechanical Engineer (1 Vacancy)
  Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient
• Agreeing budgets, timescales and specifications with clients and managers
• Ensuring that maintenance schedules are carried out to recognised standards and safety procedures.
• Co-ordination of plant and equipment shutdowns / overhauls with electrical, instrument and production HOD.
• Ensure personnel under his control work to standard safety procedures.
• Action defects reported in shift / daily reports.
• Liaise with outside contractors for repair and maintenance services.
  Requirements-

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalents.
• At least 5 year experience in ferroalloys / metal / smelting plant industries.
  Post Name: Electrical Engineer (1 Vacancy)
  Responsibilities:-

• Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
• Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components; soliciting observations from operators.
• Prepares product reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
  Requirements:-

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalents.
• At least 5 years of working experiences in ferroalloys / metal / smelting plant industries.

  Responsibilities-

• Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation.
• Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.
  Requirements-

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalents.
• Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
• Experience in planning maintenance operations.
• At least 10 years of working experience in ferroalloys / metal / smelting plant industries or multinational company.
