Phillips Planning Services hiring for Financial Controller

Phillips Planning Services is a successful Town Planning practice based in Bedford. We require a financial controller to join our team starting in October.

Post Name: Financial Controller

Position requirements:

– An accounting qualification from the AAT or ACCA to a minimum of AAT level 3 or equivalent. Candidates who qualify- through experience are also welcomed.
– Knowledge of SAGE Accounting and Payroll software.
– Minimum of 5 years experience.

Core Responsibilities:

•  Ensure accounts arc monitored and managed.
• Issue management accounts.
• Process monthly payroll.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with government reporting requirements including VAT returns.
• Liaison with suppliers.

Salary:- £25,000 to £35,000 per annum subject to negotiation.
