Putaruru Primary was established in 2004 with the merger of 3 town and 1 country school.
We are located in the small rural town of Putaruru in the South Waikato District. We have a good relationship with our community and are well supported by local businesses. We are a state contributing school catering for students in Y0 – Y6. Our roll numbers range between 170 and 210. Most of our Year 6 students leave to attend Putaruru College.

Scale A Fixed Term Year 3-4 position
Due to maternity leave we have a Full time, Fixed term position. Start Date: 05/06/2023 (or negotiable). End Date: 15/12/2023.
We seek NZ registered teachers who are forward thinking, collaborative, open-minded and genuinely enthusiastic and empathetic to the needs of our tamariki and whanau.
The successful applicant will be a team player, passionate and will maintain high standards, hey will also have a strong understanding of what it means to be truly responsive to the needs of our tamariki and be able to bring out the best in them.
