Post Name: Finance Manager (1 Position) (Kuching)
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take charge of all the development, formulation and review of financial policies, procedures and internal controls
• Take charge of all financial aspects of the Company through an effective financial accounting, control and reporting systems
• Implement and monitor compliance of financial policies and procedures
• Coordinate and direct the preparation, compilation and monitoring of budget and financial forecasts and report variances for the Company
• Coordinate the preparation and timely submission of financial reports and ensure its compliance with applicable laws and legislations
• Perform analysis of financial information, highlight and makes recommendation for improvements where necessary
• Ensure reliable and timely periodic submission of financial information to Management and stakeholders as and when required
• Formulate and manage company’s tax planning and ensure tax compliance
• Oversee the overall administration of treasury functions, in terms of funding and loans
• Liaise with auditors for finalization of audit funding and report
• Liaise with external parties, including government and statutory bodies and banks when required
• Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
  Requirements:
  * Possess a recognized Degree in Accountancy with a professional accounting qualification in CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  * A MIA member and/or recognized Professional Bodies
  * Preferably with more than 10 years of relevant experiences with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role and familiar with IFRS and MASB accounting standards and GST and Corporate taxation.
  * Excellent communication (both oral and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  * Self motivated and must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
  * Experience in managing and leading people
  * Possess business acumen and a proactive team player
  * Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to move between both detailed and holistic approach, depending on work context.
  * Must be willing to travel on official trips outstation.
