SBS Transit job openings for Technical Officer, Bus Engineering and Traffic Inspector

Assistant Service Controller (Ang Mo Kio / Seletar / Soon Lee)

• Monitor and regulate bus service headway’s and performance in Operations Control Centre and provide remote guidance to Bus Captains on the roads
• Minimum Diploma or ‘A’ Level Education,

Technician, Bus Engineering (Ang Mo Kio / Bedok North / Bukit Batok / Hougang / Seletar / Soon Lee)

• Identify and rectify mechanical defects on buses
• Overhaul mechanical components as well as service air-conditioning
• Minimum Nitec or Secondary Education

Technical Officer, Bus Engineering (Ang Mo Kio / Bedok North / Bukit Batok / Hougang / Seletar / Soon lee)

• Manage manpower, maintenance & repair activities in the workshop
• Minimum ‘A’ Level Education or Diploma.

Traffic Inspector

• Conduct checks on fare payment onboard buses and support bus operations at bus stops / interchanges / road junctions
• Minimum Secondary Education.

Technician (Crs), Bus Engineering (Bukit Batok):

• Provide on-road recovery for breakdown buses
• Class 4 driving licence required
• Minimum NITEC.

Operations Officer (Interchange Supervisor)(Yishun)

• Ensure timely arrival and departure of bus services
• Supervise a pool of Bus Captains and provide customer service
• Minimum ‘A’ Level Education or Diploma

Service Performance Officer (Braddell)

• Ensure bus schedules comply with service standards
• Process and analyse bus run times for incorporation into schedules
• Minimum ‘A’ level Education or Diploma

Operations Personnel, Garaging (Seletar)

• Assist in supervising the smooth running of bus depot operations
• Class 3 driving licence required
• Minimum GCE ‘O’ or ‘N’ Level Education

Logistics Personnel (Bukit Batok / Seletar)

• Provide administrative support to Inventory Management activities
• Ensure availability of components and parts to meet user’s request
• Minimum GCE ‘0’ or ‘N’ level Education

Inventory Personnel (Seletar)

• Ensure the collection as well as issuance of spare parts and components are in accordance to procedure
• Assign and update location of received spare parts and components into flex net promptly
• Minimum GCE “O” or ‘N’ Level Education
