SCEGGS Darlinghurst seeking for Chinese Mandarin Teacher

Post Name:- 7-12 Chinese (Mandarin) Teacher

Applications are invited from enthusiastic, motivated and passionate Chinese (Mandarin) teachers for a 6-month maternity leave position at SCEGGS Darlinghurst for Terms 3 and 4, 2019.

The successful applicant will be passionate about language learning and have the ability to engage and inspire their students across a range of different age groups. They will have a strong knowledge and understanding of the NESA Chinese syllabuses and demonstrated success in the classroom, including in the Stage 6 Continuers and Extension Courses.

The successful applicant will be innovative in their approach to teaching, collaborative in their practice and ready to contribute to a dynamic team. As an experienced teacher, the successful applicant will be able to motivate their students to learn through classroom strategies which differentiate the curriculum encourage self-reliance and include the appropriate use of technology in a 1:1 computing environment.

The successful applicant for this role will also be committed to the full life of the school and supportive of its Christian ethos.
