Post Name:- Head of Primary

The Head of Primary is responsible for creating and implementing a vision for excellence in a vibrant, innovative and caring Primary School. Reporting directly to the Head of School, the successful applicant will be responsible for the educational leadership of the Primary School, especially In the areas of curriculum, teaching and learning, student wellbeing. The development of staff and communication with families and parents. They will also be responsible for the operational management of the Primary School including the co-curricular program and the community service program.

As a member of the School Executive, the Head of Primary also makes an active contribution to the leadership of the School K-12, supporting the values underpinning a SCEGGS education, promoting the Christian life of the School, identifying and implementing the goals of the School and encouraging a culture of excellence.

The successful applicant for this role will be an outstanding primary educator with demonstrated experience as a leader. They will have a passion for working with girls, demonstrated commitment to achieving excellence In education, success In leadership roles In schools and the ability to motivate, inspire and support staff, students and parents. They will be an outstanding communicator, a strategic thinker and possess the ability to build strong relationships across the SCEGGS community. They will also be committed to the full life of the School and be supportive of its Christian ethos.
