Mathematics, Geography Teacher job opening at SCEGGS Darlinghurst

Post Name: Mathematics Teacher
The successful applicant for this part-time maternity leave position (approximately 0.75 load) will have a deep knowledge and understanding of Mathematics and demonstrated success in teaching Mathematics inYear 7-12 classrooms.

Post Name: Geography Teacher
The successful applicant for this full-time temporary position will have a strong knowledge and understanding of Geography and demonstrated success in the classroom, including in the NSW Stage 6 Geography course. Experience and/or expertise in junior Commerce may be an advantage for this position.

Applicants for both roles will be experienced, eager to inspire and challenge, innovative in their approach to teaching, committed to excellence, collaborative and reflective in their practice. They will be able to inspire their students to learn through classroom strategies which differentiate the curriculum, encourage independence and self-reliance and include the appropriate use of technology in a 1:1 computing environment. They will also be committed to the full life of the school and supportive of its Christian ethos.
