Post Name: K-6 Music Teacher (Part Time)

A permanent, part-time position (approximately 0.5 load) is available for a suitably qualified and experienced Music Teacher to join our Primary School from the beginning of 2021.

The successful applicant will be an energetic, highly skilled and innovative teacher of Music. They will have expertise and experience m music curriculum design and implementation, and a commitment to employ both an Orff and a Kodaly-based approach to music teaching and I earning. They will also have the ability to integrate the teaching of Drama into the classroom Music program. Strong conducting and keyboard skills (accompaniment) will be an advantage, as will experience in team-teaching and co-operative planning.

The successful applicant will be willing to contribute to the broader Music Department programmes and its co-curricular activities.They will also be committed to the full life of the School and supportive of its Christian ethos.
