Applications are invited from experienced, enthusiastic and passionate historians for the following full-time, permanent teaching position, commencing in Term 1, 2021.

The successful applicant for this role will be an experienced teacher of Stage 6 Modern History, as well as the NSW elective and mandatory courses in the junior years. Additional experience in Extension History would be an advantage.

As a highly accomplished classroom teacher, the successful applicant will have a deep knowledge and understanding of History and demonstrated success in Years 7-12 classrooms. They will have the experience and expertise to inspire their students to learn through classroom strategies which differentiate the curriculum and encourage students to be critical and creative thinkers and independent and self-reliant learners. They will also be an innovative and collaborative practitioner, and ready to contribute to a dynamic team. The successful applicant for this role will also be committed to the full life of the school and supportive of its Christian ethos.
