I am writing to apply for the position of Wellsite Geologist .
I am Working as a Consultant Senior Well Site Geologist at Pakistan Petroleum Limited, I have gained first-hand experience in Operation/Well Site Geology analysis while working in a fast-paced environment. I was offered this role after previously working with the company as an Operation Geologist in United Energy (Formerly B.P), where I was responsible to supervise Mud Logging, MWD/LWD, Wire line Logging, including Lithological description of cutting samples, Correlation, Worked on both clastic and carbonate reservoir, core handling and core chip analysis, Monitoring Hydrocarbon shows and handling and Supervising of on-line gas system sampling. Since coming on board, I have shown I am able to clearly communicate and collaborate with the Drilling and Exploration team and effectively draw on my high-level knowledge of Operation/Well Site Geology and Drilling processes.
During my time as a Operation/ Well Site Geologist at United Energy Pakistan (Formerly B.P), I gained valuable experience in Well Site Geology in Pakistan, Wire Line operation, CST And MSCT, MWD/LWD Online Operations, HPHT Wells, Horizontal Well Drilling, Ultra Short Radius Horizontal Wells, Final Well Report Writing and End of Well Report, Casing Point, Formation Tops, Preparation of Computer Based Logs. I was able to demonstrate my capacity to work effectively in a team.
In addition, the experience I have gained while at United Energy Pakistan (Formerly B.P) has strengthened my leadership, time management, and dispute resolution skills. I have learned how to motivate team members to work towards shared goals. These community-focused positions have also demonstrated my ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of people.
My communication and interpersonal skills are excellent, and I am an efficient team player with the ability to adhere to and follow occupational health and safety procedures. I have demonstrated experience working without guidance to a high standard, and achieving results in a timely and professional manner. I am also proficient in essential Mud Logging software, Interpretation/correlation software (Petrel/IP), Microsoft Word and Excel.
I am keen to make a contribution to your company and apply my skills while building on my geology experience and undertaking additional training and development. My experiences have allowed me to develop a unique combination of communication skills along with machinery and technical experience, and I believe I could make a valuable contribution to your team as a Drilling Operation Geologist.
