Shangri-Las Fijian Resort requires Director of Sales and Marketing

Shangri-Las Fijian Resort & Spa has a vacancy for the following position:

Post Name: Director of Sales & Marketing
– The Director of Sales & Marketing has overall responsibility for business development, strategic direction and global sales and marketing activities. Specifically, the person will be responsible for leading and directing the Resort’s business development and sales and marketing activities; managing key accounts across all segments; implementing yield management strategies and special programmes to achieve optimum profitability, providing leadership to the Sales & Marketing team including Sales Communications. Events Management and Reservations personnel.
– Applicants must have relevant tertiary qualifications together with at least 5 years’ relevant experience at executive management level in a large 4 or 5 star international hotel or resort. Applicants should also have in-depth knowledge of wholesale/MICE market segments and experience in dealing with the international in-bound market. We are looking for someone who is highly responsible self-motivated and who is committed to service excellence.
