Post Name: Electrical Technician

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or minimum 6 years work experience in electrical engineering maintenance in the Oil and Gas Industry
• Authorized as Authorized Electrical Person (AEP) and as Chargeman by Ministry of Public Utility Sarawak (Pesuruhanjaya Tenaga)
• Ability to interpret Key Line Diagram and control circuit

Prepare, drive and deliver the quality execution of field electrical tasks required to deliver non-routine maintenance and construction activities according to the approved performance criteria in Safety, Quality Schedule and Cost.

Post Name: Mechanical Technician

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and/or minimum 6 years work experience in mechanical engineering maintenance in the Oil and Gas Industry
• Ability to interpret Process Engineering Flow Scheme

Prepare, drive and deliver the quality execution of field mechanical tasks required to deliver non-routine maintenance and construction activities according to the approved performance criteria in Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost.

Post Name: Instrument Technician

• Diploma in Instrument Engineering and/or minimum 6 years work experience in Instrument engineering maintenance in the Oil and Gas Industry
• Ability to interpret Process Engineering Flow Scheme

Prepare, drive and deliver the quality execution of field instrumentation tasks required to deliver non-routine maintenance and construction activities according to the approved performance criteria in Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost.
Provide first line troubleshooting of challenges faced, develop mitigation plans and drive field execution to manage delivery against approved premises.

Applicable for all roles
You will be accountable to execute field instrumentation, mechanical and electrical tasks for non routine maintenance and construction activities ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance with applicable premises, approved work processes and standards of the MTAC department. This includes but not limited to the field execution of plant changes, fabric maintenance, CUI mitigation, tank inspection, temporary repair and major Corrective Maintenance works.
Provide active supervision of assigned Contractor-Partners during work execution, continuously applying safe work behaviors, ensuring high quality work execution and high productivity throughout workday. This includes consistently developing and reviewing Job Hazard Analysis, Job Method Statement with the Contractor-Partners and conducting highly engaged toolbox Talks prior to start work onsite and excellent communication skills.

Civil, Operations Technician job openings at Shell

Post Name: Civil Technician

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or minimum 6 years work experience in civil engineering in the Oil and Gas Industry
• Experience in executing and delivering civil assurance or maintenance activities during Run & Maintain in projects or plant changes in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge in civil and structural asset integrity, procedures and standards for refractory, insulation, cladding, piping & pipelines, structures, tanks, drainage, concrete foundations and roads will be valued
• Experience in demonstrating high Safety leadership behaviors through consistent and quality delivery of assurance or maintenance activities, demonstrates effective collaboration with peers and Contractor-Partners and excellent communication skills

Reports to the Civil Manager. You will be accountable for providing assurance in civil and structural activities through site, documentation and process verification activities per Conduct Assurance requirements. This applies for the Civil discipline throughout Run & Maintain, projects and plant changes. You will also be accountable to ensure the civil works assured supports the site to meet safety, environmental, production, reliability, productivity, people and quality objectives.
You are also be responsible to support the leadership and capability development in the areas of civil assurance. It includes providing coaching, guidance and knowledge sharing to staff and Contractor-Partners on civil maintenance and assurance best practices.
Post Name: Operations Technician

• Diploma in an Engineering Discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument, Electrical, Chemistry) or a related Science discipline. As
  working experience is not a requirement recent Diploma graduates are encouraged to apply

The position of Operations Technician is in charge of the Processes in the Main Plant or Solid Wax Plant facilities of Shell MDS. Operators will work as part of a shift team, supporting the Production Team Lead in delivering assigned task for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the units. This position requires working in shift to meet operational targets safely and optimally.

You will be accountable to:

1. Effectively operate assigned unit(s) in an Operator Area, including starting up and shutting down the unit(s) safely
2. Effectively conduct Ensure Safe Production (ESP) activities
3. Conduct Proactive Monitoring round for assigned area(s)
4. Complete competency required at current level as laid out by the Production Team Lead and Line Trainer
5. Regularly attends emergency drills, know the locations of safety and firefighting equipment, knows the hazards involved in your area of assignment comply to all safety rules and regulations.
6. Be the first responder during plant emergency
7. Perform plant lab analysis of selected sample
8. Ensure safe execution of all related activities including but not limited to compliance to permit-to-work system and equipment preparation for maintenance
9. To assist in monitoring activities and performance of equipment
