Shore Preparatory School is an Anglican School consisting of an Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 campus at Northbridge for both girls and boys, and a Years 3 to 6 campuses at North Sydney for boys only. Shore is seeking an outstanding early childhood educator to lead the Early Learning Centre. The coeducational extended hours preschool, at the North bridge campus, is open 48 weeks a year from 8am until 6pm for girls and boys who are 3,4, and 5 years of age.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early childhood educator with approved early childhood teaching qualifications and leadership experience to continue to develop the philosophy and practices of Shore’s early childhood programme. Applicants will be able to demonstrate both a deep understanding of, and practical experience with, implementing rich and engaging child- centred learning experiences.

The Director will be the Nominated Supervisor and will be responsible for the daily organization of the Centre. He or she will ensure compliance with the National Education and Care Services Law and Regulations and the National Quality Standards. The Director will report to the Head of the Preparatory School and the Deputy Head of the Preparatory School, North bridge.

The successful applicant will be expected to support the aims and practices of this Christian School by contributing to the academic, spiritual and co-curricular life of the School.
