Post Name:- Material Logistics Assistant

(Based at SPH Print Centre, 2 Jurong Port Road)

The Job

•  Maintain newsprint inventory including safekeeping of newsprint rolls in warehouses and optimizing newsprint rolls’ storage space
• Supervise un-stuffing, stacking and issuance of newsprint rolls
• Ensure cleanliness of all containers before returning to transporters and coordinate with transporters on newsprint roils movement to warehouses
• Prepare reports, workflow procedures and warehouse administrative work
• Job rotation opportunity within Materials Department (i.e. warehouse, store and Self Guided Vehicles)

Requirements

•  At least a Higher NITEC with 1 – 2 years of related working experience
• Certified in forklift driving preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently

Post Name:- Printers

(Based at SPH Print Centre, 2 Jurong Port Road)

The Job

•  Assist and make ready the printing press including plating up and preparing the reel stand paste pattern
• Carry out production run to produce single colour and multi-colour printed products to specifications of proof or print sample.
• Perform simple trouble-shooting and rectify minor printing faults
• Maintain printing machine in good working condition

Requirements

•  At least a NITEC Certificate / GCE ‘N’ Level
• Able to work on rotating shifts
• Must be physically fit and willing to work overtime
• Recent graduates are welcome as training will be provided

Post Name:- Engineering Technician (Mechanical / Electrical)
(Based at SPH Print Centre, 2 Jurong Port Road)

The Job

•  Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot and repair of state-of-the-art printing press machinery up to components level, and any other operational duties as assigned
• Carry out Facilities Operations and maintenance. Training will be provided.

Requirements:-

•  At least a Higher NITEC. Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent preferred.
• Good knowledge of general maintenance of testing tools and instruments
• Able to work on rotating shifts
• Must be physically fit and a willingness to work overtime
• Recent graduates are welcome
