St Josephs College Hunters Hill, Founded in 1881, St Joseph’s is an independent Catholic boarding and day secondary school for boys, under the care of the Marist Brothers. In 2018 enrollment is approximately 1,100 boys from Years 7 to 12.

Post Name: Mathematics Teacher
Full-time ongoing position commencing Term 1, 2019
A highly skilled, collaborative and motivated teacher is sought to teach Mathematics to Stages 4. 5 and 6 in a positive and successful department which is committed to delivering excellent outcomes for students, curriculum innovation and development. Experience and ability in teaching a variety of senior courses is highly desirable.

Post Name: Science Teacher
Full-time ongoing position commencing Term 1, 2019
The College seeks to also appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher with an ability to teach Stages 4, 5 and 6 Science. Specific expertise, experience and competence in at least one Stage 6 course would be highly regarded. A capacity and willingness to embrace a collegial and collaborative approach as a member of a successful department is essential. An ability to teach Stage 5 Agriculture would be well regarded though not essential.

St Joseph’s College has an established and highly successful Indigenous education program that supports Indigenous students from both rural and urban areas of NSW. The College seeks to appoint a suitably qualified teacher to provide individualized academic support to Indigenous students across all year groups. Occasional flexibility of hours around relevant events is required.
