TFL Telecom Fiji Limited is seeking a dynamic and extremely results-oriented, self-driven individual to join its Executive Management Team. This role will require initiatives with a significant financial value to TFL.

Our client, Telecom Fiji Limited (TFL) is a 100% owned subsidiary of Amalgamated Telecom Holdings Limited (ATH). TFL owns and operates Fiji’s only fixed voice data network infrastructure, providing a wide range of products and services including complete end-to-end ICT solutions, high-speed internet access, fibre broadband, international connectivity, etc to corporate enterprises. Key Responsibilities:-

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for treasury, financial statutory accounting and statutory reporting, financial management, financial planning, insurance, revenue assurance and credit control. Key responsibilities including:-

•  Formulating corporate financial plan in line with the TFL’s strategic plan.
• Participating in key decision as a member of the executive management team.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure TFL remains fully compliant with all finance related regulatory and statutory requirements at all times.
• Working closely with internal and external auditors to mitigate any high risks identified in the audit reports.
• Ensuring TFL maintains the appropriate insurance cover.
• Reporting risk issues to the risk and audit committee of the board of directors.
• Implementing operational best practices to enhance workforce efficiency.
• Ensuring that all procurement is in line with TFL’s policies and procedures.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors for large capital expenditure projects.

Key Requirements:-

•  Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent together with professional membership (CA or CPA) from a recognized institution is essential.
• At least 10 years’ experience in a Senior Finance role as well as senior management roles preferably in Telecom or ICT sectors.
• Good knowledge of processes and project management with excellent analysis and planning skills.
• Highly developed business and legal acumen and a sound understanding of the Technology, New Media, Network and IT environment.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage relationships across all levels.
• Extensive experience with budgeting, reporting and cost monitoring.
