The Water Authority of Fiji seeks to recruit suitably qualified personnel’s to take up the following vacant positions:-

Post Name:- Senior Finance Officer (Budgeting and Management Reporting) – National Office

The Authority seeks to recruit a suitably qualified person to the position of Senior Finance Officer – Budgeting & Management Reporting. The successful candidate will be based at National Office.

Primary Job Purpose:-

The Senior Finance Officer – Budgeting & Management Reporting will work closely with the Management Accountant to plan, implement monitor and control the efficient and effective utilization of WAF’s financial resources within the approved budget allocation.

•  Effective and timely OPEX budget preparations
•  Effective and efficient budget monitoring services provided
• Timely, relevant and compliant reporting
• Teamwork and cooperation
• Organizational Values promoted and demonstrated at all times

Person Specification

•  in addition to a Degree in Accounting and Finance, the Knowledge, Experience Skills and Abilities required to successfully undertake his role are:

Knowledge And Experience

•  At least 3 – 4 years’ experience in the commercial or statutory organization
•  Sound knowledge of applicable accounting standards, laws, codes and regulations

Skills and Abilities

•  Resource management
•  Systems and procedures
• Information Analysis
• Documentation

Remuneration
Remuneration will be commensurate with relevant qualifications and experiences, with relevant qualifications and experiences.
