Job Type: (Part Time)
* Reporting to the Branch Librarian, the Circulation Clerk is a part-time position with regularly scheduled hours each week including evenings and weekends. The position also includes fill-in as relief for staff vacation and sick leave as required one position is fifteen (15) hours per week; the other is sixteen (16).
* Candidates for this position must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills to assist patrons of all ages with all facets of the Library operations, have good public relation and interpersonal skills, and be a team player. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills and have advanced computer skills. Experience in a computerized cataloguing environment and/or a Library Technician Diploma or EXCEL certificate or equivalent would be an asset. The successful candidate must possess a Class “G” Driver’s License.
The salary range for this position is $18.40 to $21.52 per hour.
