Treasure Island Resort one of the Fijis leading holiday destination catering for honeymooners, couples and families for the last 40+ years. The Resort comprises 68 bures and three dining outlets. Located in the Mamanuca Group of Islands.

The position reports to Sous Chef/Executive Chef and the successful applicant will have the following experience, qualification and capabilities.

Responsibilities:-
Managing your section, training and developing junior staff. Helping Sous Chef and Executive Chef to develop new ideas. Ensuring your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of Health and Safety. Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margin.

Qualification & Experience:-

Candidate should have professional apprenticeship or Chefs training course and previous experience of 4 or 5 star quality establishments with minimum of 5 years’ experience and holding the same position currently.

Candidate should have good knowledge of meat, quality of meat, personal hygiene, stock control, good knowledge of ordering meat & food preparation and presentation. Ideal candidate should be positively spirited, passionate and committed to work together as a team player and should have understanding of Hotel operation.
