YALJ Group, Yousef Abdul Latif Jameel Group is a large and highly diversified Group based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Group is active in the field of hospitality, construction, technology and agriculture. The group is investing in large hotel projects over the next 7 to 10 years in Makkah. Which includes a 9,900 room three star hotel complex.
To spearhead its construction projects, the Group is currently looking for a Managing Director (Construction).

The position will be based in Saudi Arabia and will report to the Chairman.
Post Name: Managing Director (Construction)
The role and position calls for a qualified, highly experienced, senior and dynamic construction professional to;

• Lead & manage multiple projects, which are at various phases of construction life cycle leading to execution.
• Oversee all functions including procurement & contract management
• Focus on safety, quality and cost rationalization
• Ensure compliance and liaison with the local authorities
• Communicate with Chairman on all aspects of the projects, like the plan, contracts, financial and technical details

* Leading the team, negotiation and communication skills are some of the critical competencies to be effective in this role. Knowledge of Arabic language, ability to work in Makkah and experience in the Middle East is desirable. The ideal candidate should have the Engineering qualifications and at least 25-30 years of Construction experience together with an exposure to the construction of high rise buildings.
