Group Accountant, Project Manager, IT ERP Specialist job vacancies at Cahya Mata Sarawak

1. Post Name: Group Accountant
Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial reports, quarterly interim financial reports and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance of statutory requirements, group policies and procedures and accounting standards
• Responsible for consolidation of group financial statements
• Prepare/assist in preparation of budget
• Monitor income tax requirements and ensure tax estimates and tax computations are accurate and submitted on time
• Liaise with authorities, external auditors, tax agents and bankers on relevant matters

Requirements of Group Accountant:

• Degree in Accounting or professional qualification ACCA/CPA and a member of MIA
• Well versed with MFRSs
• Preferably 10 years of working experience in audit or relevant field
• Strong financial analysis, communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and observe confidentiality

2. Post Name: Project Manager
Responsibilities:

• To manage and assist General Manager for the digital transformation project and future project
• Work effectively with the team and manage steering committee to ensure end to end delivery of the project on time and within budget
• To ensure project team will follow quality assurance processes and IT Transformation Framework

Requirements of Project Manager:

• Holder of Project Management Professional Certification / Prince2 with Six Sigma / Agile qualification is an advantage
• Preferably 5 years and above job experience. Proven track record of leading multi-disciplined teams and delivering global programmes or projects are added advantage
• Ability to drive projects under minimal guidance, highly motivated and proactive self-starter
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent understanding of the project lifecycle and best practice techniques on project delivery

3. Post Name: Senior IT Executive – ERP Specialist
Responsibilities:

• To support the ERP for CMS Digital Transformation Project
• Provide support for an ERP Plant Maintenance system and related modules in the organisation to meet business needs
• To configure system to function as per business blueprint and user requirement
• Engage users to understand technology and interpret their business requirements and develop solutions
• To provide consultancy and propose solutions to end users to improve business processes and operations efficiency
• Prepare training material, user manual and conduct user training
• To prepare test scripts and guide users in performing user acceptance testing

Requirements of Senior IT Executive – ERP Specialist:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in implementation, customisation and support of Plant Maintenance module of an ERP system
• Successfully completed two full cycle implementations involving requirements gathering and analysis, documentation of business blue-print, configuration, cross module integration, testing, end user training and production support
• Possess good problem solving, analytical, communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own work load
• Ability to code using C# and/or HTML5 is an added advantage
