The bakery, located at Pulau Indah and operated by The Italian Baker Sdn. Bhd. caters to the market demand for premium packaged bread and cream rolls under the brand name “Massimo”.

Job Vacancy for Engineering Manager at FFM Grains & Mills Sdn Bhd

Post Name: Engineering Manager

Main Responsibilities as a Engineering Manager:

• To be responsible for the overall function of the Engineering & Maintenance Department
• To plan and manage the preventive maintenance and repair activities in the factory
• To be responsible for the spare parts store inventory and cost optimisation
• To advise management on cost optimisation measures through engineering
• To manage and execute the improvement projects in the factory
• To coordinate with production and other departments to ensure smooth operation
• To document and ensure the department activities are in adherence to SOP and GMP
• To develop and train the engineering team
• To carry out other related tasks as and when instructed by management

Minimum Requirements for Engineering Manager:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) from recognised institution
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Maintenance and Engineering department (Food and manufacturing industry is an added advantage)
• Proficient communication in English and Malay (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and management techniques is an advantage
