Located in Wahroonga in Sydney’s north, Knox Grammar School is an independent Uniting Church day and boarding boys’ school with a focus on positive education, quality teaching and providing outstanding educational opportunities. We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Boarding team where you can positively influence the lives of young men. Commencing from Term 1, 2020, this is a year round live-in position, combining a leadership position within our Boarding team with a 0.5 FTE teaching load.

The accommodation provided as part of the package is a one-bedroom apartment (suitable for a single person or married couple with no children) with car parking. The package includes the provision of all utilities, internet access, mobile phone allowance and use of facilities at the Senior School campus.

Post Name: Head of Stage 6 – Boarding

You will have:

• Extensive experience in providing effective team leadership, development and support of an efficient Boarding House team which includes all staff, boarders and parents
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of the issues encountered by overseas and remote students and their families
• Appreciation and understanding of what is important in a successful boarding environment for boys
• Effective organisational and communication skills leading to successful relationships within a School community
• Teaching qualifications which can be utilised in our Senior School campus
• Support for the ethos of the Uniting Church
