Northern Beaches Council requires Director Environment and Sustainability

Stretching from Palm Beach to Manly, the Northern Beaches boasts more than half of all the beaches in Sydney and a population of more than 266,000. Northern Beaches Council was created in 2016 through the three councils of Manly, Pittwater and Warringah coming together to deliver the highest quality services to the community Exciting new infrastructure projects and community programs have quickly demonstrated the positive impact the new council is having.

The Director Environment and Sustainability leads the Environment and Sustainability Division in delivering excellence and achieving results for the Council and Community.

The Division consists of 2 Business Units. Environment and Climate and Waste Management and is responsible for the overall strategy and planning for maintenance and delivery services related to environment and climate and waste management to ensure that Council achieves excellence in service delivery to the community.

In collaboration with the other members of the Chief Executive Team, the Director contributes to the development of Council’s strategic direction through the development and implementation of community and operational plans and delivery programs.
