PLC Sydney has an excellent reputation for the outstanding quality of its orchestral performances. We are seeking an experienced conductor with a proven ability to design and implement an extensive strings program across the College that develops students at all levels in keeping with the College’s ‘Reach’ ethos.
The successful applicant must provide dynamic, effective and ethical leadership to lead, conduct and run rehearsals and performances for a variety of orchestras and string ensembles, including:

• Senior Chamber Orchestra
• Symphony Orchestra
• Junior Orchestra
• Hamilton Strings

The role requires collegial participation in school Music programs and experience in teaching up to Stage 6 Music. A detailed Role Statement is available online through the application process.
