Job Description of Legal Officer:

• To provide support to the Senior Legal Counsel in the provision of legal services and setting up the Legal Department for Sarawak Petchem Sdn Bhd.

Legal Officer Qualification:

• Government recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Law or other similar qualifications.

Requirements of Legal Officer:

• Minimum 5 years experience in related fields with minimum 2 years in-house legal working experience.
• Ability to prepare and manage legal documents such as feedstock agreements, Engineering Procurement Construction Commissioning (EPCC) contracts, product sales & purchase agreements and project financing agreements.
• Strong negotiation skills and detail oriented.
• Possess strong cross-functional relationships & communicate effectively with team members & business partners.
• Company Secretarial License is an added advantage.
• High proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
