Post Name: Business Manager

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Business Manager, a person who has the energy and passion required for this position in a vibrant, innovative and caring school, commencing the start of 2021, or earlier if mutually agreed. As a member of the School Executive, the Business Manager reports to and provides strategic advice to the Head of School across many areas.

The successful applicant will be responsible for: leadership in financial management, reporting and business services; ongoing management and maintenance of property, assets, grounds and buildings; leadership, development and welfare of the non-teaching staff; working closely with the Head of School and other senior staff to ensure highest quality offerings; oversight of compliance, risk management and regulatory developments.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated commitment to excellence in financial management, reporting and control, as well as strong accounting and managerial experience and qualifications, such as CA/CPA. They will also have outstanding people skills, communication skills, sound strategic thinking and decision-making skills and the ability to contribute innovative ideas within a culture of continuous improvement. They will have had demonstrated excellence in leading diverse teams.
