SunPork Consolidated Pty Ltd requires Senior Stockperson Piggery workers for pork production in regional QLD – Warra, QLD 4411.1

Responsibilities, tasks, & duties include:

• Supervise site/facilities, staffing, physical resources, safety, consumables, documentation & measurement devices;
• Supervise & participate in daily livestock inspection; feed, water, health, treatment, medication, environmental parameters;
• Supervise & assist birthing, internal exams, minimise still births;
• Breeding incl. mating & artificial insemination, records/data;
• Collect, record & maintain data/records, inventory control;
• Stock movement & select breeding stock & pigs for sale;
• Ensure environmental, quality, safety & production goals are met;
• Maintenance & compliance of QA/QC & animal welfare programs;
• Company/industry training sessions & workshops.

Required qualifications & experience:

• Cert III in Agriculture (Pork Production) plus 3 years’ FT work exp. in med/large piggery or min. 5 years FT work exp. in med/large piggery.

Must have good work ethic & must enjoy working with pigs. Weekend work required. Above award wages $63,000 – $73,000 p.a. + Super.
