Post Name: Farm Manager – Flagstaff Station Sheep/Beef/Arable

This position is available on a 2000ha operation at Athol and Balfour, Southland.
The applicant must be highly motivated and have at least 3 years’ experience managing a productive farm and staff. Arable experience will be valuable but not necessary.
The operation is based at 2 locations and has a mix of intensive, rolling to extensive land with development potential. Around 10% area is arable with flexibility depending on season or markets. 4 staff works on the farm, and the job has a flexible start date, with a flexible base of operations at either location.
The right candidate will be willing to try new things and be able to optimize farm performance whilst sustaining the environment Strong team leadership and animal care values are important traits.
