Post Name:-Manager – Internal Audit

This position will be based in our Head Office in Vatuwaqa and directly reports to the Resident Director and Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:-

•  Develop annual compliance work plan that reflects the organization’s highest risks that will be monitored by the compliance function as determined by conducting a mandatory annual risk assessment using an enterprise wide approach.
• Oversee and monitor implementation of the compliance program.
• Independently investigate and act on matters related to compliance.
• Monitor external audit review processes, maintain awareness of compliance issues, and in conjunction with the senior management, respond to administrative inquiries related to compliance issues or audits.
• Coordinate internal auditing activities and plans; ensure that internal audit resources are appropriate, sufficient and effectively deployed to achieve the internal audit plan as approved by the Board of Directors and timely completion and reporting.
• Provide an annual holistic opinion on the effectiveness and adequacy of risk management, control, and governance processes.
• Develop, coordinate, and participate in a multifaceted educational and training program that focuses on the elements of the compliance program, and seek to ensure that all appropriate employees and management are knowledgeable of, and comply with, required regulatory standards.
• Develop policies and programs that encourage managers and employees to report suspected fraud and other improprieties without fear of retaliation.

Key Requirements:-

• Bachelor of Commerce- Accounting Qualification
• Applicant needs to have charted accountant and Internal audit Practitioner certification.
• Proven hand on experience of not less than 5 years in an FMCG organization.
• Matured, self driven and ability to work under minimum supervision/guidance to achieve desired results
• Has excellent inter-departmental communication and interpersonal skills.
