Due to continued high demand for our boats we are seeking a full-time experienced boat builder / engineer / alloy fabricator to join our team manufacturing and fitting out alloy jet boats at our workshop in Gore, Southland.
This position involves the manufacturing of new alloy jet boat hulls and steel trailers including the installation of engines, jet units and internal systems on recreational and commercial jet boats.

We are seeking someone who:

• Has at least 2 years experience in MIG & TIG welding
• Has fabrication skills and the ability to read drawings
• Has good initiative, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Takes pride in producing work of a high standard
• Can work in a team environment
• Is fluent in English with the ability to understand instructions and communicate clearly
• A currently NZ driver’s licence
• Has NZ citizenship, residency or a current work visa and currently located in New Zealand

KeetowCraft’s standard welding test will need to be completed as part of the interview process. Our hours of work are Monday to Friday 7am to 4.30pm. We provide a competitive remuneration package which is skill based.
