Would you like to be part of a newly formed multinational team in a Globally recognized engineering organization, working in Partnership with the Royal Air force of Oman? We have an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology / Information Services coordinator to join our team at the Royal Air Force of Oman, Adam Airbase.
The successful candidates will be accountable to the Information Technology / Information Services Manager within the Adam Air Base information Technology / Information Services team.

The role will involve both technical and administrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency of several computer systems. The role will provide tailored Information Technology support to both BAE Systems personnel and Royal Air Force of Oman comprising troubleshooting and support activities on desktops, laptops and all associated peripherals.

As an information Technology / Information Services coordinator your main responsibilities will involve:
Providing advice, technical support and training on systems and networks. Through the help desk, you will be required to troubleshoot issues and carry out repairs as appropriate and if required, act as a link between end users and higher level support team personnel. You will be involved in the installation and configuration of software and hardware. The role will require collaborate with other Information Technology professionals with the objective of maintaining high levels of availability and functionality of the systems and networks.

What we are looking for in you:

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience in industry standard help desk support and help desk tools
• Understanding of Virtualization technologies
• Understanding of Active Directory, Domain Name System and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
• Understanding of Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol protocols and Local Area Network /Wide Area Network configuration
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities

Location: The role will be located at Adam Airbase. Wilayat of Adam, AI Dakhiliyah Region and preference will be given to applicant from the Wilayat of Adam
