BDO Global job vacancy for Human Resources Manager

BDO Global, Our client R.C. Manubhai Group of Companies (RCM), Is a well-established Group in Fiji, operating a leading chain of retail stores specializing in hardware, building materials and steel, with extensive business interests in manufacturing and property investments.
RCM is seeking a dynamic and extremely results-oriented, self-driven individual to join their Executive Management Team based in either Ba or Suva.

Key Responsibilities:-

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing the human resource programs and activities, including:-

  •  Oversee and direct all phases of human resources function including organizational development, talent selection, employee relations, retention and rewards.
  • Advise and lead executive management on strategic human resources initiatives in support of business goals and objectives.
  • Guide management and employees on best practices.
  • Create and maintain a positive value driven culture within the company.
  • Develop and update HR Policies, Procedures and Guidelines and ensuring compliance of RCM Group HR policy and procedures with changing employment legislations.
  • Carry out skills gap analysts and devise a program to enhance productivity and skills.
  • Advise and coordinate all training and development activities.
  • Maintain HR computer records, produce statistics, and report to aid in management decision-making.
  • Manage all staff grievance and disciplinary matters.
  • Build and maintain positive and productive relationships at all levels inside and outside the organization.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant Fiji laws and ensures compliance with the same.

Qualification & Experience:-

  1.  A Degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management would be an added advantage with at least 5 years of experience in a senior level.
  2. The applicant must have a broad understanding of different aspects of HR and ability to use information and analysis to create and deliver appropriate strategic people plan.
  3. Able to work independently and have excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
