Salary: £18,180-£22,442

Job Type: Full time, term time plus 2 weeks

– We require a new Pastoral Leader to oversee a group of about 200 pupils. The successful candidate will oversee them to achieve some of the best standards in the country, working with teachers, families and the pupils to overcome barriers and ensure that all our pupils can access university.
– We want someone with very high expectations who love working with young people and is ambitious to see them achieve. You will want to be a part of the team that believes young people in Bedford deserve the very best quality of education.
– You will be a resilient team player with a can-do attitude, will be flexible, organized and able to use your own initiative and problem-solve.
– The pastoral leadership team is friendly and cohesive, and works with teachers and other support staff ‘going the extra mile’ to ensure that we provide the very best for our pupils and families. It is important to us that you buy into and share the ethos and vision of the school.
– If you have worked in schools before this is an advantage but is not a requirement. In any case, we encourage a visit to the school – we are different and unlike anything you will have seen previously.
