Post Name: Team Leader Swimming Pool Compliance

Position No: BC1059

Using your excellent communication skills and passion for pool safety, lead our team of swimming pool compliance officers in using our inspection program and assessing applications for Certificates of Compliance. You will be providing services to the City Strategy and Development directorate customers, while also acting in accordance with the NSW WHS Act 2011, WHS Regulation 2017 and the WHS Management System.

You must have tertiary qualifications in a related field, accreditation as an Accredited Certifier issued by the Building Professionals Board and Driver’s Licence. You must also have experience as a Building Surveyor or Swimming Pool

Compliance Officer and knowledge of the NSW Swimming Pools Act 1992, NSW Swimming Pool Register and relevant Australian standards and documentation. An accreditation as an A1-Accredited Certifier-Building Surveyor and knowledge of the Building Code of Australia, NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 would be advantageous. Strong skills in written and verbal communication, negotiation, problem solving and customer service would also be advantageous.

There will be alcohol, drug and random testing during the pre-employment phase.

Salary Range: $1,721.10 to $1,927.70 pw (Grade 16), 35-hour working week, leaseback vehicle, leave entitlements, 9.5% employer superannuation contribution, gym membership discounts and more.
