– We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Supervisor to join our Civil Asset Maintenance Team.

Post Name: Civil Asset Maintenance Supervisor

Position No: BC1006

– You will be responsible for inspecting assets and organizing contract works, supervising outdoor staff and contractors, assisting in developing strategies and implementing infrastructure improvement programs, supervising roads and drainage maintenance and restoration works, investigating customer requests and liaising with customers and the community.

– You must have a TAFE Certificate of Trade or equivalent, minimum four years of related work experience and a Driver’s Licence. Local Government experience dealing with Civil Asset Maintenance would be advantageous. Blacktown City Council is committed to safety and have introduced alcohol and other drug testing at the pre- employment phase, and via a series of random tests, tests where there may be reasonable suspicion and/or post-r eportable incident testing for Council workers.

Salary Range: $1,381.80 to $1,520 (Grade 12). 41-hour working week, leaseback vehicle, leave entitlements, 95% employer superannuation contribution, gym membership discounts and more.
