Borneo Restu Sdn Bhd is a dynamic Sarawakian home grown company. We are a one-stop telecommunications network solutions provider. Our company is a licensed Network Facilities Provider (NFP) and Network Service Provider (NSP) under the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). As such, we are able to build, own and lease telecommunications infrastructure in Malaysia.
With the establishment of Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA) and vision for a digitalised Sarawak, we believe our company is able to contribute positively in providing telecommunications network infrastructures and developing more local talent in the process.

Post Name: Senior Manager, Business Development

Job Description:

• Develop and source a strong pipeline of prospective clients and qualified telecommunication backhaul provider leads
• Meet or exceed sales and profit goals
• Co-create and execute a sales strategy for the allocated product range and region
• Facilitate pre-sales process for new leads, including first contact, discovery phase, meetings and contract negotiation
• Lead and coordinate proposal preparations in cooperation with other departments inclusive (presales, R&D, implementation, legal, support etc.) to prepare on time and high-quality proposals
• Actively manage existing customer accounts, address key objectives and strategy, concerns and escalations, overall status and new sates opportunities
• Deliver in person sales presentations with prospective and existing customers
• Research and stay updated with telecommunication industry trends and insights
• Attend and actively participate in conferences and industry events

Job Requirements:

• Degree in business, telecommunications, or technical studies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
• An in-depth understanding of the Malaysia telecommunication landscape
• 2-4 years of proven experience of working in telecommunications sector
• Good knowledge of marketing, CRM and sales processes of telecommunications industry
• Ability to analyze customer requirements and functional needs
• Excellent soft, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of Polish language is a big plus but not crucial
