BAT Fiji Leaf Function is seeking to recruit self-driven, committed, and agile individuals for the following roles to be based in Nadi

Post Name: Electrician (1 Year Fixed Term Contract)

• Install, repair, and maintain the electrical parts of factory/curing barns/greenhouse machinery and equipment
• Work individually and as part of the team to successfully complete projects
• PLC troubleshooting and timely restoration
• Perform daily and weekly machine calibrations
• Prepare SOPs for machines
• Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of machines
• Ensure to follow EHS procedures and adhere to electrical codes
• Correctly interpret technical drawings and documents for proper execution of assignments

Qualifications and Essential Attributes:

• Trade Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in a factory environment
• Wiremen’s License will be an added advantage
• Sound knowledge of AS/NZ wiring codes and standards
• Sound knowledge of PLC/VFD/VSD and SCADA systems, will be an added advantage
• Good Interpersonal skills

Post Name: Boiler (6 Months Contract)

• Operate integrated wood and diesel boiler system for curing barns
• Install, repair and maintain the boiler parts/equipment as required
• Assist with wood loading into wood boiler following all safety and loading procedures
• Perform routine inspection, cleaning of boiler and maintain optimum operation
• Ensure to follow EHS procedures and adhere to boiler operation codes
• Report any defect or issue to line manager in timely manner to ensure curing operation is not affected
• Work with logistic officer to ensure a consistent supply of wood fuel
• Maintain a proper record of fuel usage

Qualifications and Essential Attributes:

• Trade Certificate in Boiler Operations or Diploma in Plant Fitting
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in boiler operation
• Knowledge of boiler water treatment
• Knowledge of operating diesel and wood boiler
• Forklift license will be added advantage
