Industrial Machinist Job Vacancy at Carpets International at Courts Suva Fiji

Post Name: Industrial Machinist
This position will report to the Senior Manager and will work closely with other members of the Team.
The role will be based in Laucala Beach Estate.
We are hiring

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in taking measurements, free hand cutting and sewing curtains, cushion covers, etc.
• Competent and proficient in the safe operation of sewing machines
• Experience in the use of the overlock stitch machines
• Communicate with customers on their requirements
• Address any customer related issues and fins solutions

Requirements:

• Experience working as a machinist in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work independently
• Able to show initiative in identifying and addressing problems.
• An engaging personality and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
• Ability to work under-pressure, managing workload and prioritizing tasks.
