Chambers Group is Seeking for Division Manager

Chambers Group, located in Vernon BC requires a division manager for its Langley Freight Lines division. A career position in a beautiful area of BC LFL specializes in the bulk transport of commodities, including: lumber, cement, aggregates, and liquids. As division manager, you are responsible for all aspects of the operation. You are a self starter with leadership skills, who can effectively motivate a team and meet organizational goals.
The successful candidate will be a well-rounded individual who can meet customer needs while dealing with the day-to-day operation of a transportation company. Excellent communication skills are required to manage the company internally and confidently represent the Chambers Group externally.
Safety is a priority and the successful candidate will have knowledge and experience with safety policy and procedures.

The following qualities/experience are required for this position:

• Prior experience in the logistics / transportation industry
• An understanding of bulk trucking equipment and specifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of department of transport (DOT) and National Safety Code (NSC) rules and regulations
• History in a management/supervisory role and familiarity with hiring and human resource practices
• Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft programs
  Requirements:

• Required experience – Management/Supervisory. 5+ years
• Required license or certification – Class 5 drivers license
• Must have valid and current passport with ability to cross border
