The Chief Executive Officer is responsible and accountable for all business performance and management of the operations of the company within approved budgets. For day-to-day reporting matters pertaining to Civic, the reporting line is through to the Civic Board Chair. For matters pertaining to the other product offerings such as LAPP, Risk pool and Super Easy, the reporting line is through to the respective Board Chairs. With direct leadership responsibilities for seven staff members, you will take on a well-established financially stable business with the potential for further growth. The successful appointee will spend time learning the business from the incumbent CEO, who is intending to leave the business sometime over the next few months.

You will be a confident communicator able to present and promote services in front of large audiences. You will have demonstrated experience operating at a strategic level to provide thought leadership across the sector and be able to forge trusted relationships with key stakeholders within local government including inside the councils, at the CEO, CFO and HR executive level as well as within LGNZ and Taituara (nee SOLGM). You are likely to come from within the financial services sector and understand Kiwi Saver, superannuation, asset allocation and the broader funds management sector.
