Job Name; Safety and Health Officer
This position is responsible to develop and oversee the implementation of the University’s Occupational Health and Safety management and programme.
Selection Criteria:

• Possess a Degree in Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Green Book registered with DOSH (JKKP)
• At least three (3) years of working experience in related field.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and software’s related to safety management.
• Experience in a construction industry and possess a CIDB green card is highly preferable.

Job Name: Counselor
The Counsellor will work as part of Curtin Malaysia’s University Health Division team. The post holder will provide a full range of individual and group counseling, psychological intervention and consultation, consultancy to staff on issues related to student, group programs, required disability services and promotion of Health Division services.
Selection Criteria:

• Possess a degree in Psychology or Counseling or equivalent.
• Qualified to be a Registered Counsellor and maintain requirements for registration and certified practice with Board of Counsellors. Malaysia.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the needs of students and working experience in the tertiary education section is highly preferable.

Job Name: Technical Officer, Heavy Structure
This position will provide technical assistance and support teaching and research projects in the field of Structural Engineering in the Heavy Structural Laboratory and other research laboratories within the Faculty of Engineering and Science as necessary.
Selection Criteria:

• Possess a degree in civil engineering from a recognized institution.
• At least two (2) years of practical experience in civil engineering and /or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training and working experience in construction sites. Previous experience in a similar capacity in an education setting is highly regarded.
• Knowledgeable in testing procedures such as ASTM, AASHTO, AS, BS, MS, BS-EN etc.
• Able to communicate effectively (Oral and written) in English.
