Post Name: Golf Operations Manager

Key Duties
Responsible to oversee the Golf Club’s overall activities and daily operations including and not limited to maintenance of golf course, Club’s facilities and golfing related equipment, operations staffing and the Pro Shop.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the roles and duties of the Course Marshalls, Starters, Guest Service Assistant, and other operation staff in the Club.
• Ensure that golf facilities, machinery and equipment are in maintainable good conditions and to provide recommendations to improve the golf course to the satisfaction of the members and guests.
• Prepare and implement calendar of activities, organize, manager and liaise with agencies/ corporations/golf associations on golf tournaments and events.
• Formulate and implement the Sales & Marketing plan to support the Company’s objectives and financial plans.
• Ensure high retention rate for corporate clients who have chosen the Club as their venue for golfing events as per Club Golf Events Calendar so as to ensure optimum participation in events organized in the Club included memberships seminar and orientation.
• Assist the General Manager in the preparation of reports, presentations, meeting notes. Board papers, analysis report and general correspondences.

Requirements

• Recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Golf Course Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or equivalent professional qualifications in Sports & Recreation Management or a related field.
• At least 5 to 8 years of working experience specializing in golf resort management or equivalent.
• Good interpersonal skills to deal with employees, golf professionals and members of the public using the golf course.
• Excellent analytical and financial skills to develop and monitor budgets so as the course operates at a profit.
• A strong understanding of golf is preferred with good marketing and customer service skills.
• Must posses a high level of integrity, dynamic personality, be proactive, positive, ability to accept challenges and willingness to undertake all other extra duties/assignments (which may be outside the job descriptions) as directed from time to time.

Remuneration will commensurate with qualification and experiences.
