Superintendent, Supervisor, Mechanic, Welder Immediate Vacancies at Dayang Enterprise Sdn Bhd Miri Sarawak

We invite suitable candidates who are seeking career development and challenges in our organization to join us for the following vacancies: –

Offshore Positions:

Position 1: Field Superintendent

• Able to read, write and speak English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• At least 10 years’ offshore experience of which at least 5 years were as a Supervisor or Superintendent over multi-disciplinary work (offshore construction / maintenance / painting work).
• Must possess at least a Technical Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent.
• Must be fully conversant with marine aspects and mooring requirements of offshore vessels / barges.
• Qualifications to master’s license on seafaring vessels is preferred

Position 2: Supervisor (Structural / Piping / Electrical / Instrument / Blaster Painter / Rigging Slinging)

• Possesses internationally recognised diploma/certificate in engineering or similar qualification.
• Possesses minimum qualification of Malaysian Certificate of Education (MCE/SPM) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ relevant design/drafting experience using Autodesk AutoCAD/Google Sketchup including material take-off.
• Certified under either one of the following certification institutes, Institute of Materials, Malaysia (IMM), Level II & NACE International Certified & other reputable Institute e.g. SSPC, FROSIO, Icorr, etc.
• Have at least 3 years’ experience in painting inspection preferably in the O&G industry.

Position 3: Mechanic

• Have served a recognised trade apprenticeship and relevant working experience of a least 3 years, 2 of which must be in offshore construction industry, preferably involved in the commissioning of rotating equipment.

Position 4: Material Coordinators

• Must possess wording knowledge of the codes and standards of engineering materials
• Has previous experience in handling/storage of materials
• Possesses a working knowledge of different classes of piping and structural materials.
• Must be able to work with computer assisted material inventory/control system.
• Possess a working knowledge of material take-off from structural drawings and piping isometrics.

Position 5: Welder II

• Skilled with 3 years’ experience in O&G industry preferably in offshore.
• Must be qualified in AWS D1.1 (6GR). API 1104 (6G) and ASME IX (6G) for SMAW and GTAW to the following class of materials:- All grades of Carbon Steel & Low Temp Carbon Steel

Position 6: Welder III

• Skilled with 3 years’ experience in O&G industry preferably in offshore.
• Must be qualified in AWS D1.1 (6GR), API 1104(6G)andASMF IX (6G) for SMAW and GTAW to the following class of materials:- All grades of Carbon Steel, Low Temp Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel including but not limited to 6Moly, SS316, SS304 and Duplex.

Position 7: Welder IV

• Skilled with 3 years’ experience in O&G industry preferably in offshore.
• Must be qualified in AWS D1.1 (6GR), API 1104 (6G) and ASME IX (6G) for SMAW and GTAW to the following class of materials:- All grades of Carbon Steel, Low Temp Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel including but not limited to 6MoIy, SS316, SS304, Duplex, copper nickel and Inconel / lncolloy 825 materials.

Wanted Fitter, Painter, Scaffolder, Watcher, Inspector at Dayang Enterprise Sdn Bhd Miri Sarawak

Position 8: Pipe Fitter

• Skilled with 3 years’ pipe fitter experience in O&G industry preferably in offshore.
• City and Guilds Level preferred.
• Trade certificate or equivalent required.

Position 9: Electrical & Instrument

• Shall possess a recognized degree in either Electrical or Instrument Engineering.
• Shall have at least 5 years construction experience in offshore Oil and Gas Industries, of which 3 years shall be in preparing workpacks and follow up execution on offshore hook-up and commissioning projects.

Position 10: Blaster / Painter

• Certified by IMM.
• 3 years’ experience in industrial painting of which should made up of 2 years offshore in blasting and painting.

Position 11: Scaffolder

• Minimum (3) year experience as a Scaffolder & must have Scaffolding Basic Part 1 or Part 2 certificate with DOSH certified.
• Must have valid rigging / slinging course certificate.
• Valid with Petronas Smart card are encouraged to apply.

Position 12: Fire Watcher

• Skilled and time served with at least 3 years as rigger working offshore.
• Must possess a recognised Rigging / Slinging Certificate or equivalent.
• Fully conversant with the principles and techniques of fire prevention and fire fighting
• Have attended Advanced Fire Fighting Course or equivalent.

Position 13: Rigger / General Helper

• Skilled and time served with at least 2 years as rigger working offshore
• Must possess a recognised Rigging / Slinging Certificate or equivalent

Position 14: Scaffolder Inspector

• Shall possess the DOSH certification in Scaffold Inspection.
• Shall possess certifications as per HSE Compulsory Courses.
• Shall have at least 5 years working experience in Oil and Gas Industries.
• Of which, 2 years shall be engaged as Scaffolding Supervisor or Scaffolding Inspector.
