Department of Labour Sarawak is an established architectural firm is looking for suitably qualified candidates for the following post to be based in Sarawak.

Inspector of Work, Manager, Architect, Staff Immediate Vacancies at Department of Labour Sarawak

Post Name: Inspector of Work – 3 posts (Lawas)

• LAM / BEM / CIDB accredited I0W is preferred.
• Must possess minimum certificate qualification in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering
• 5 years minimum related working experience
• Potential candidate must be able to operate Autocad, PowerPoint, Excel
• Will be expected to do daily reporting in Excel format, weekly reporting and monthly reporting
• Must possess good public relation skills and able to receive instructions from the Headquarters
• Possess own transportation for site work and personal usage.

Post Name: Contract Manager – 1 post (Kuching)

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent
• Required Skill(s): Contracts Knowledge, QS knowledge, write Specification, interpret contract risks, interpret legal risks, do EOT, interpret Critical Path Method (CPM), review letters email in and out.
• Strong and sensitive in contracts and commercial matters.
• Able to work in fast pace environment.

Post Name: Design and Production Architect – 4 posts (Kuching)

• Must possess recognized Degree in Architecture.
• Part II and / or above qualification (Architecture).
• Competent in AutoCAD, ArchiCad, 3D renderings software, MS Office, PowerPoint, Photoshop.
• Able to work independently and to report to the director or supervising architect.
• Must have attitude of self learning and self improving.
• Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply

Post Name: Draftsman – 2 posts (Kuching)

• Must possess Certificate (Architecture).
• Competent in Auto CAD / 3D renderings / MS Words / PowerPoint / Photoshop.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Post Name: Admin Staff – 1 post (Kuching)

• Must possess at least SPM.
• Knowledge and skillful to operate Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Knowledgeable on ISO system.
• Must be able to write minutes of meeting.

• Able to work long hours.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Conditional approval before accepted into employment: subject to passing medical check up.
• Pro-active and able to work in teams / independently in a multi-racial environment.
• Must be able to travel nationwide on short notice.
• Must possess own transports and accommodations.
